General description of the service
The website provides information about the E building on the site of the former US Army area FRANKLIN in Mannheim. The E building is a striking high point that forms a modern, homely refuge with its award-winning architecture (Iconic Award 2025). It offers apartments and townhouses of different sizes with well thought-out floor plans for prospective buyers or tenants. A special feature is the option to rent an apartment first and buy it later (“rent with option to buy”).

The project’s main offerings are:

● A large number of ready-to-move-in apartments – a total of 113 owner-occupied or rental apartments with 1 to 5 rooms and living spaces ranging from approx. 39 m² to 150 m². There is a choice of classic apartments from the 2nd floor upwards and townhouses in “town house style”.
● Architecture & comfort – modern floor plans, individual design lines and spacious terraces or balconies ensure comfortable living. The architecture combines tranquillity and dynamism; the sun-exposed terrace apartments offer views over the district and the green surroundings.
● Extensive fixtures and fittings – all apartments are ready for immediate occupancy, have underfloor heating, parquet flooring or large-format tiles, floor-to-ceiling triple-glazed windows, elevators and balconies or terraces. There are barrier-free units on the 4th and 9th floors, an underground garage and spacious green areas for communal use.
● Sustainability & energy efficiency – the building complies with the KfW 55 standard and uses modern construction methods to ensure low energy consumption.
● Flexible housing solution – interested parties can initially rent their dream flat and purchase it later; the website provides contact details for advice and individual housing solutions.
